Born and raised in Columbus, GA, I developed a love for art as far back as I can remember. I attended Auburn University and earned a Bachelor's degree in Art, and now live and work as a full-time painter in Charleston, SC. I work out of a creative studio space called Redux Contemporary Art Center. My paintings consist of mostly figurative and non-objective work. I am forever learning and trying new techniques, mediums and subjects. Inspired by light, movement, surprising color combinations, social interaction, and patterns, I try to collaborate these elements and form abstracted, pixilated compositions. While still up for interpretation, I'd like for the observer to feel a casual, yet upbeat and sophisticated mood evoked from my work.

I strive to make my artwork a reflecting pool, a table of nourishment for thought, action and truth, and a progressive force in recognizing and conveying a truth. This is my passion, reasoning and philosophical approach to art - it is the highest form of communication I aspire to. To reflect on the late poet Adrienne Rich's words: "Art means nothing if it simply decorates the table of power which holds it hostage."

Last November we were looking for another new location to bring Artist & Craftsman's signature charm to New York City, and we found the perfect place in Long Island City. Located at 34-09 Queens Blvd, this 89 year old building is the former location of a Breyer's Ice Cream factory.

For several weeks A&C worker bees have been adding our own stylistic flourish to this delicious 10,000 sq.ft. space, sprinkling A&C magic on everything from the walls to the floors and even the shelving. We even scooped up some space on the giant billboard atop the building, which some may recognize as the shape of Breyer's iconic leaf logo.

Soon we'll start moving in products and training our new staff. We can't wait to start serving up some sweet arts & crafts treats from our new home in Long Island City
