Stretched Linen

Linen is the original artists' fabric for painting. Pure linen is woven 100% from fibers of the flax plant. The finest quality linen is woven in Europe; 'Artist Quality' is noted for uniformity of weave, consistency of texture, and absence of defects.

We offer linen - in this case primed and stretched and ready to paint. One variety, under the Art Alternatives brand, has a thick profile and a clear primer, the other, called Elephant, is primed with white gesso and has a thinner side.

One would expect the elephant to be fatter.  I guess this elephant is on a diet.
