Ribbon Leaf is manufactured for gilding narrow stripes or large expanses with imitation gold, aluminum, & copper leaf.
All forms of ribbon leaf are appropriate for indoor use. Imitation gold and copper leaf must be sealed to prevent tarnishing. A non water-based sealer is recommended.

Ribbon leaf is manufactured by placing individual 6 1/4” squares of leaf overlapped by 1/4” on a continuous roll of paper, which facilitates handling.The leaves are lightly attached to the paper by a thin layer of wax. The overlap lines are faintly visible on the gilded surface and repeat regularly at 6” intervals. The ribbons come with clean and even edges.
