Pastel & Charcoal Pads

Artists who like to draw with sticks need a toothed surface to accept their media.
The basic sticks an artist uses are sticks of pastel or charcoal - media that has very little binder holding it together, and demands a surface that is rough and textured to hold it in place (so it doesn't blow away).
Many pastel and charcoal artists also prefer toned papers to give their works a unique and less stark finish.
