Paper Mache & Sculptamold
Paper Mache is french for 'chewed paper'.
It is also a lightweight and durable sculpting material composed of paper strips or paper pulp combined with an adhesive. Kitchen artists make their own, or if you prefer we offer a range of sculpting materials - bags of prepacked pulp - just add water to constitute and form, and the 'paste' most preferred as a paper mache adhesive.
We also carry Sculptamold, a compound in dry form that is as hard as plaster, but does not shrink. Sculptamold can be modeled or cast, and the finished form can be sanded, drilled, sawed, and carved. It is like plaster, but better, and again, just add water.
