Polymer Clay

Polymer Clay artists like to think of their ovens as their kilns. The material is actually a polymer polyvinyl chloride, and not really a clay, but it molds like clay and can be baked to a permanent and durable finish right in the kitchen.

Polymer Clay comes in a wide range of bright colors, and is therefore popular for crafts and can also be rolled and balled for making beads. Sometimes, more elaborate sculptures are also formed.

Super Sculpey has a unique translucent quality, and resembles a smooth ceramic figurine when baked.
