Polyester Rolls & Drafting Films

Poylester has fast replaced acetate (a wood-pulp product) for the graphic industry. Acetate yellows and becomes brittle with age whereas polyester (a petroleum product) is acid-free, optically clear and will not deteriorate with age.

Polyester is clear or matte in rolls of varying thickness.  A matte polyester is frosted on either a single side or both sides, allowing the translucent surface to better accept media.
